Asaos, The Seeker

Worship of Asaos, The Seeker is far from centralized. Though major ports and trade towns may boast a temple to Asaos, more often than not worshippers make due with a small shrine or statue in their city’s thoroughfare or temple district. This, for the most part, seems natural. Asaos is the god of journeys, questions and beginnings; and whether by nature or inclination, Asaos’ priests are rarely willing to commit themselves to one temple or one location.

Shrines are rarely elaborate, and statues to Asaos can often be found in the wilderness or along remote roads.

Asaos is commonly depicted as a young man about to make a momentous decision with unforeseen ramifications; though this is often illustrated as a step off a cliff, this is by no means the only illustration.
